Covid-19 Express Demoday Platform was held online by KWORKS, which was established by Koç University Entrepreneurship Center with the support of Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA).
The platform brought together companies, public institutions, NGOs, chambers, unions and investors who opened their resources in solidarity with advanced-stage start-ups that develop solutions can be implemented quickly to reduce the negative effects of Covid-19 pandemic.
The start-ups that made a presentation on the KWORKS Covid-19 Express Platform Demo Day are as follows:
SterilBox: A solution that sterilizes restaurant/cafe or online market orders at the time of delivery, allows safe first customer contact.
ServisSoft: A cloud-based SaaS initiative that provides end-to-end monitoring and management of technical services.
İltema: It is a company that works on technical textiles that radiate heat. Mainly works on exporting and commercializing the products which completed R&D processes.
IWROBOTX: It produces autonomous marine vehicles that perform sea surface cleaning. Seahorse Doris; It recognizes, collects, categorizes the wastes on the sea surface using image processing and artificial intelligence algorithms, and prepares a report by transferring this waste data to the internet.
Ortus4C: It is a new generation communication platform that offers remote video consultancy, assistance and support services for companies aiming to digitalize, and provides infrastructure solutions that enable the automation and remote execution of business processes with live support, video call, chatbot and social media integration modules.
Baktek Çevre Teknolojileri (BioGuy 2): Develops compact wastewater treatment solutions that can be installed in large facilities such as factories.
PulpoAR: It develops virtual trial solutions using augmented reality and artificial intelligence technologies for e-commerce platforms and digital ads.
Macerita: Special interactive map adventure and an extreme sport platform.
SmartOpt: Offers Deep Technology solutions that provide cost savings of up to 30 percent in supply chain and logistics operations by using mathematical and statistical modeling, artificial intelligence and optimization technologies.
Bugbounter: BugBounter, which enables organizations and companies to find cyber security vulnerabilities thanks to independent security researchers, also makes it possible to verify and report these vulnerabilities.
