“The State of Turkish Startup Ecosystem 2019” report, prepared by T. C. Presidential Investment Office and Startups.watch is published for the foreign investors,entrepreneurs and businessmen who are interested in Turkey.
The report which covers the entrepreneurial ecosystem has lots of details inside from accelerators to joint working areas, from Technoparks to enterprise-friendly companies.
To summarize the report with numbers;
- The number of accelerators increased from 7 in 2010 to 43 in 2018. Common work spaces have increased day by day, just like accelerators
- There are 81 Technoparks in our country. And a total of 5.334 initiatives in the Technoparks
- There are 471 angel investors and 15 angel investment networks in our country. When we look at the investments made in the first quarter of 2019, we see that the Turkish venture capital investment funds invested 34.3 million dollars
- Trendyol, Yemeksepeti, Opsgenie, Gram Games, Gittigidiyor and Markafoni initiatives attract attention
